Pre-kid life dreamed of vacations included sun-kissed children laughing endlessly while whispering sweet nothings into my ear as we all fall asleep together exhausted from a day of great love and joy. My children telling me how wonderful their life is and how they love the waves splashing against their sweet legs. However, real life includes waves with sand causing rashes in places no mother wants to put creams, sleepless nights, and stressed-out parents who are trying to create the perfect trip that, let's be honest, no one is going to remember.
