Voodoo is a religion practised in parts of the Caribbean (especially Haiti) and the southern US, combining elements of Roman Catholic ritual with traditional African magical and religious rites, and characterised by sorcery and spirit possession. Voodoo can be used to help people but most people associate it with evil and bad spirits which to be fair, simply isn't true.
