Episode 30: Wanting friends to be in relationships: selfish or not?

Listen Later

Ah the mid-twenties! A wonderful period of your life where your friends are all over the relationship spectrum: some are single, some are married and others just wanna be left alone. No matter what their status is, you want your friends to be in healthy relationships.. And when they’re single, the temptation to set them up with people and see them in a relationship is just so strong! We personally love to follow up on friends’ love lives, get regular updates and try to find potential partners for them. But we wonder... Is this wrong? Should we stop getting involved in their romantic quests? Join us on this episode as we discuss these questions and dig deep about our desire to see our friends in relationships.

In this episode, we figure out what we get out of all this, how it affects us and whether it is a selfish act or not. We also try to find the reason why we can’t stop doing this and reflect on whether this should be stopped going forward.
