Welcome to Part LII of our Brain Drain trilogy's finale about how to undo the damage of harmful influences and brainwashing.
Brandi expresses how you have the right to set the boundary of not being obligated to argue. You can tell them that you both will talk when you're both calm and not lashing out with emotion. She also warns that people will purposely attempt to manipulate you out of your boundaries while others will indirectly do so. Her captor did everything to break down every boundary she had. Set boundary lines against spending time with an abusive person and beware of passive aggressive behavior.
Don't let other people's insecurities become your own. Some people are actually just insensitive and emotionally dense. You will get quicker on your feet with more practice of setting boundaries. Move through peace…response vs reaction. And, beware of inverted relationships.
