Episode 30.57 Brain Drain 3: Cleansing The Mind - Part LVII

Listen Later

Welcome to Part LVII of our Brain Drain trilogy's finale about how to undo the damage of harmful influences and brainwashing.

Whoever you include in your healing journey should know God to be able to support you in the ways you need. Shawn shares how he's modeled the real way a man should treat and respect a woman. Brandi discusses how the "Fairytale" ending is real, but not in such an exaggerated way. Relationships are a process and how we go about them makes a world of difference. Settling is the counterfeit action of choosing to wait for your God given match.

Brandi debunks a couple of bitter sentiments about nice/good guys. She also relates this to one of the many destructive phrasings her captor used. Choose your influences wisely and beware of negative self-fulfilling prophecies. Don't over generalize the opposite gender off of hurtful ex's. Let go of the toxic people no matter how long you've been with them and choose what God has for you.
