This week on episode 309 I was able to tap in with an artist I’ve recently been gravitating towards and that is Chicago native The Last Maven. As a fan of his sound and consistency alike I was thrilled when he agreed to this interview and it was a great conversation full of hidden gems for artists looking to build a solid foundation and plan for growth. We discussed his early works such as 2013’s “Love-lathan”, his connection to Lupe Fiasco and Mickey Factz, and the ways he has improved his craft in both writing and lyrical delivery. He told me about his move back to Chicago which has allowed him to connect with individuals like Ro Moore while building a lengthy run of single releases over the past year and change. A big point he shared on this one was his goals to use the current music to help elevate him and expand his reach in order to help support and fund his future projects. This goal to see continued growth also applies to other exciting endeavors that will be amazing to see unfold for The Last Maven real soon.
