Episode 31: All the Wrong Problems

Listen Later

The Supreme Court has ruled that the federal government can’t tell private sector employees what to put in their bodies—unless that private sector receives a lot of federal funding. What does that say about our medical autonomy in a hypothetical Medicare for All utopia? And why does Maurice have a problem with the Court’s OSHA ruling? Next, Jon Ossoff and Josh Hawley have both introduced legislation to ban Congressional members and their families from trading stocks. Amanda explains why both bills would create new problems by ignoring existing ones.
