Pretty Haunted

Episode 31 - Haunted Roadtrip: Colorado

Listen Later

The next stop on The Vault’s Haunted Roadtrip series takes us through the picturesque mountain towns of Denver & Estes Park in Colorado. Molly Brown may be a name you recognize from the story of the Titanic but her former home in Denver is a location known for paranormal activity and spectral visits. The 2nd stop is a haunted park that is supposedly so haunted that it inspired one of the most famous horror movies of all time, The Poltergeist, due to thousands of bodies being buried below the park… we’re stopping by Cheesman Park.

But the adventure doesn't end there because we have one final destination before we leave Colorado. Estes Park is a quaint and touristy town, with a somewhat eerie feeling, maybe because it is home to one of the most haunted hotels in the world: The Stanley Hotel. This hotel has a reputation on its own, but will forever be immortalized after leaving a mark on horror icon Stephen King and the release of “The Shining” due to the ghostly encounters and unsettling ambience.

Join for another week as we uncover the haunted history as we travel through Colorado and delve into the spooky, sinister and downright unexplainable events on our haunted roadtrip.
