I recently caught up with Rich Edmiston on the phone. He was there to see it all in the early days of the New Jersey Hardcore Punk scene of the 1980s. His teenage years consisted of playing in bands and going to classic punk / hardcore shows anywhere and as often as he could. He saw such classic acts as Johnny Thunders, The Misfits, and the Circle Jerks just to name a few. He played bass guitar in a few different bands before he joined the Air Force. Rich currently lives in Florida, where he raises his family and still listens to the loud and fast stuff whenever he can.
