Mel is a mum of 2 based in East London (Tower Hamlets) and former research scientist turned babywearing consultant after she was pushed out of her job.

She found a true calling in supporting new parents on their parenting journey and share her passion of babywearing. Alongside the sling library, she co-runs the Tower Hamlets Family Meet-up which is a parent support group where parents meet local perinatal and early years professionals who come to support them. She’s also a breast-feeding mother supporter and very much into gentle parenting, continuously training to support parents better.

The sling library is an inclusive, friendly and welcoming space for parents to come and get the support they need.
