Richard Goldstein looks at the Pension Schemes Bill that is currently progressing through Parliament. The Bill’s main focus is the creation of an authorisation and supervision framework for master trusts. As currently drafted, the framework could apply to schemes with non-associated participating employers that are not traditionally considered to be “master trusts”.
