West Pensacola Elementary School is excited to announce its partnership with Running Wild for Escambia County Public Schools' annual "Socktober" sock donation event. From October 1st to October  31st, the community is encouraged to donate new socks to be distributed to individuals in need through  Opening Doors Northwest Florida. 

Socktober began at West Pensacola in 2020, collecting 422 pairs of socks for the homeless population in our area. Through community support and involvement, last year, they collected 1624 pairs of socks. The  2024 goal is 2000 pairs.
