The GradLings got a chance to chat with Tricia, an upbeat first year PhD student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Now starting the SLATE (Second Language Acquisition and Teacher Education) program within the French Linguistics track, Tricia talks about how she keeps her goals in mind as she expands her research.
