Host Toby Davis sits down with Julie Winokur to discuss Talking Eyes Media and her documentary “Bring It To the Table”. Julie developed an alternative media source long before Trump started labeling news stations “Fake News”. She wanted to create a non-profit media source that wasn’t beholden to greed, power, or the click bait narrative. Along the way, she was challenged by her son to become more tolerant and so she started on a quest to engage in dialogue with people from all over the country. In “Bring It To the Table”, Julie brings her kitchen table to churches, rallies, conventions and sits down one on one with individuals to find out what they believe in and why.
