In several thrilling scenes of prison breaks and lost parents, teen protagonists Myra and ShayGrin go head-to-head in a contest of who can stand the stillest. Indeed, if both close their eyes (and often, they do) they could almost feel like nothing changes at all. Yet, by chapter's end, one has to wonder how ShayGrin is going remain an optimist.
