Following recent scenes from this years Love Island of contestant Faye (female) shouting abuse and throwing F bombs at what appeared to be a very much defenceless Teddy (male), ITV seems to have taken the view that this sort of behaviour was perfectly suitable and should simply be viewed in the context of entertainment. But what if the roles were reversed and it was in fact the man doing the abusing, would they have taken the same accommodating approach or would Teddy be out on his ear? Also why is it that women can text each other love hearts, kisses and hugs to express the importance of their friendships but men cringe at the thought of giving out or receiving such expressions from their male friends and automatically pre-empt any attempt to associate their words or expressions with anything homosexual by saying "No Homo". Guys whats wrong with telling your close male friends that you love them? We discuss in episode 32.
