Jason was a top-up player for Geelong's VFL side in 2006. In 2006 he won the Fothergill-Round-Mitchell Medal which is awarded to the league's best young talent. Jason Davenport is a former Geelong and Port Adelaide AFL player. He played 28 games with Port Adelaide and kicked 29 goals. From 2017 until 2020 Jason was a development coach at the Carlton Football Club. He is currently the Head Coach of the Oakleigh Chargers and Vic Metro boys programs.
