This week the chaps go to the movies to see the futuristic totalitarian comic book sci-fi V for Vendetta. They discuss the chronological events of the story, the original gunpowder plot the film references, the Christian extremist fascist government in the film, the wedded-to-power corporate media, the iconic Guy Fawkes' mask now appropriated by anti-capitalist demonstrators around the world, the choice of love and fear within the film, and they raise the question, are fascism and anarchy the extreme political poles and not capitalism and communism?
