Episode 32 - Virgin Mary, and Dante meets the Apostles. Canto XXIII.
In this Canto we see how Dante has risen up the ladder of the contemplatives, and a fuller brightness of the Divine is filling the Sphere, as he sees the souls of Mary, the Apostles and the Prophets as beautiful flowers in a garden.
Main themes in the episode is the transcendent moment of Dante in his journey, when his mind swells and expands, and it does not know anymore, what it becomes. But he can once again look at Beatrice's smile - and absorb all the beauty and knowledge.
In some ways this is one of the most bright cantos, in the whole book!
