The history of Carson Park.
Last summer I took my 83-year-old dad to see my nephew play baseball at Carson Park. Along about the 7th inning dad nonchalantly mentioned that the last time he watched a game there, this guy was playing shortstop.
The Eaux Claires festival.
During a recent discussion with Nick Gulig, I rediscovered my love of Frank Stanford’s poetry. So I am excited to dive into this book:
But first, this week I finished this one:
I’ve mentioned this book in previous episodes (317, 318, and 321). My favorite piece in the collection is “Yoop Dreams.” Herewith some excerpts:
