Kyle and then Barry describe their first experience and worshiping at an RPC church. One of them wanted to run out the door, while the other said it was love at first sight. From there, they discuss what one would experience if they worshiped in an RP congregation. The consistency of worship is highlighted, especially the attention given to the reading and preaching of God’s word. One of the most striking aspects of Reformed Presbyterian worship, that of acapella psalm singing, is addressed. They explain other features you may find in an RP church, including an emphasis on such things as diverse as RP worship being similar in other countries, lengthy prayers being made, children being included in the services, family conferences, and generational heritage. Some of the variations one might find at different RP congregations are spelled out as well.
