Jesus taught with parables and stories: the Prodigal Son, the Good Samaritan, the Mustard Seed, etc. We’ve all heard them. Ministers and priests have used them to teach us about God, forgiveness and love for centuries, but do we really understand them? Do we understand them the way that Jesus meant us to understand them? If they were that easy to understand, then why did Jesus have to take his disciples apart and explain their meanings to them?
