Secret #7: Follow-Up Funnels
In our last episode, we covered the 7 Phases of a Funnel. In the 3rd phase, we qualify subscribers, which means that the people that landed on your page gave you their email. Between the 4th to 6th phase, you nurture your subscribers and keep building relationships with your email list, so that they can ascend the value ladder. This chapter will show you how Russell Brunson and many other internet marketers have generated well over 6 figures a month just by doing 1 thing right. And that thing, is called follow-up funnels.
Imagine at every level of your value ladder, you have diagrams of your funnels. As soon as people give you their emails, you have an arrow pointing down to a sequence of emails. There is another arrow that takes them down to another sequence of Soap Follow-up Funnels. And a percentage of them will ascend the value ladder again.
From the top of the value ladder, imagine there is a sequence of emails raining down on your subscribers. These are called Seinfeld Messages. I understand if it’s hard to image the whole image, but you can get your free PDF doodles and diagrams at DotComSecrets.com/resources under “Additional Resources”. I am referring to Figure 7.2.
Before I explain what these email sequences do, let’s touch on the concept of traffic. We will dive deep in Book 3 of this series, but for today, let’s look at the 3 types of traffic.

Email #4: Mention the Hidden Benefits.
Email #5: Urgency and a strong CTA.
The goal of Soap Opera Sequences is to push your customers into the next funnel. If this is your only funnel, we will push them into the Daily Seinfeld Email list.
