In this episode, I talk about and describe buffering -  an action we do to take us away from something we don't want to experience and has a net negative consequence.  I was a night-time binge eater. I ate to comfort myself from emotions that felt too much for me. And that binge eating took me further and further from my goal of having a positive relationship with food.
