In this episode, we spend time in Zechariah 4:6-7. These verses address the Old Testament temple restoration project that awaited the Jews returning from exile. In the New Testament, we are the temple and have our own restoration project. Referencing these verses will help us explore the similarities between their building project and ours. One of the most important things we will see is how the work was to be accomplished. It could only be done by divine power, not by human power. How can this truth empower us as God’s people to be restored to the Lord and fully given over for His purposes?
