May 18th marks the birthday of influential British Philosopher Bertrand Russell. Russell had a huge impact on me as I was getting my undergraduate degree in philosophy. I want to share with you an essay he wrote. I think that philosophy, and more specifically, Russell's work is still very important to our modern age.
