Do you often feel out of control when something difficult happens in your personal life or career?
On this week’s solo episode, I felt guided to share a personal story with you about when I recently baked a cake with my toddler. I share this as an illustration of what often happens when something in our life or career spirals out of our control. When things get hard, it is natural for our logical minds to scan for past traumas and experiences to blame, criticize, or shame ourselves. But instead, these difficult experiences should be our sign to reroute.
Instead of letting these stressful moments throw you off track, learning to pinpoint when your feelings are out of alignment and taking a break to reconnect with your intuition will guide you back into alignment and offer liberal self-compassion. Our intuition will always guide us back to what is true: that we are loved, whole, and on the right track. These stressful moments can be a gift, a time to step back and reconnect with our intuition to shed light on the situation and help us focus on what we actually want for our lives and careers.
Let’s explore together:
I hope this episode gives you permission to let go of the challenging moments that often happen in the human experience. Turning to our intuition and self-compassion to pull us away will help us refocus on building the life and career we want, prioritizing our overall joy and happiness, rather than the negative. Don’t let your past prevent you from living true to your future and what you are building. Always remember that all the answers are within you.
Thank you for listening to the podcast! I hope this conversation helps you feel less alone on your personal and career journey. Xo, Amber
