Todays episode is special and the reason I love The Drive project podcast is because for some people who have or will come on this may be the first time they have ever told their story! Today I have Lesley Hall Smith who battles daily with Ulcerative Colitis a chronic inflammatory disease that causes severe pain and inflammation in the digestive tract. I have personally been to the hospital myself to just sit with her and pray and believe for things to get better. We however thank God, due to she has had one surgery but has a couple more to go but everyday is a battle not just in the body but in the mind. Lesley said sometimes its hard to just be positive all the time even though you know the victory is coming. This is the first part of her journey.
