Immediately following the riot that took place on January 6 at the Capitol, Joe Biden declared this as the darkest day in American history. While I completely disagree with this statement, the days preceding this event could possibly go down in history as some of America’s darkest. We saw firsthand how big tech corporations can flip the switch on not the most powerful man in the world, but also any individual or business that dares to have differing political ideologies.
The digital purge has begun, and it is not kind to anyone in its path. It is pertinent that you have a digital contingency plan, especially as a content developer or an online businessperson, and diversify your online presence across multiple platforms to soften the blow of a social media takedown. This week we are joined once again by social media and marketing guru, Remso Martinez who will discuss methods to work around the great digital purge of 2021.
