Episode 335: Take Your Place
Take your place!
Enough of the complaints.
Enough of the constant criticism of others.
It’s time to take your place
Your God-ordained place in His plan.
Find your place and fill it.
No part of the human body is useless, and neither are you.
Take your place and contribute to the growth of the body!
In his letter to the Corinthians, Paul uses the analogy of the human body to describe the Church. Each part has a unique role. Each one matters. Each one is essential.
“Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ.”
— 1 Corinthians 12:12 (NIV)
So too are we—different in our gifts, talents, and callings, yet united in Christ.
Toward the end of 1 Corinthians 12, Paul points us to a more excellent way—
The highest and choicest of all graces: unselfish love.
So as you take your place in God’s plan, let it be with love.
Use your gift to build up, not tear down.
Remember:
You have a place.
You have a role.
You have a purpose.
Take your place!
