🎙️ Crumb Confessional — Episode 33L2
Title: We’re Just Driving Over the Bridge
Description:
It’s 9:17 PM and we’re leaving the Northern Kentucky Emergency Shelter. We served for about an hour and 15 minutes. I just met a guy named Blake—a brother in the Lord—and we had one of the most real conversations I’ve had in a long time. I’ll post that next. And I also talked to Kevin, a homeless vet who’s been through unimaginable trauma—eight strokes, friends blown up in war—and yet he still believes God was with him. We’re now caravanning in five cars across the bridge into Cincinnati. We’ll be out for another hour, passing out hot dogs, Jolly Ranchers, and maybe just a little bit of God’s love too.
I talk about:
đź’ˇ Highlights & Timestamps:
00:00 – “Leaving the shelter, it’s 9:17 PM…”
01:10 – “Met a war vet named Kevin—8 strokes and still talks about God”
02:15 – “You meet some in darkness… and then you meet bright lights”
03:00 – “Not about pity—this work always blesses me”
03:45 – “There’s a man who does this every single week. Quiet hero.”
04:40 – “Crossing the bridge now—Cincinnati’s lit up. God bless you.”
🧠Core Takeaway:
There are unmentioned heroes feeding people in the dark—and God sees every one.
🙏 Closing Line:
Crumb Confessional #33L2 — We’re just trying to spread God’s love, as they say. Toodles, McNoodles.
