The British colonialization of India was based on the capture of the supply chain of cotton, which proved adverse to the Indian economy. With the advances in shipping and communication technology, East Asia became an economical manufacturing hub. With the pandemic, mew bottlenecks arose, prompting a fresh look at the Supply Chain.
