In Episode 34 I interview 23 year old Alana Quartly. Alana is Australian born and raised in the north west on acreage. Although Australian, Alana has a big family base, back in the UK due to her mother being Scottish. Alana is what the entertainment industry calls a “Slashy” being an actor, model, songwriter and singer, and if asked to pick what her favourite is, she couldn’t choose. She started out in acting, studied music, and then fell into modelling by mistake. She has recently started up her own modelling agency that focuses on representing petite women. Alana has been an advocate for petite women alongside Dannii Minogue, showcasing that petite women are hugely unrepresented in the fashion world and modelling world and how that needs to change. Outside of work, Alana lives with her golden Labrador - Moët, her hobbies include cooking bakery goods and slices, sewing, dance parties for one late at night in her house, telling herself she’ll start healthy eating tomorrow, reading, watching Netflix and tackling any jobs around the house head on; like tiling, gyprocking and flooring.
