This week's Unashamed Alcoholic guest is President and Vice-Chancellor of Carleton University Benoit-Antoine Bacon.

Dr. Bacon is open about his own lived experience and advocates for open conversations about mental health and substance use. These efforts have been recognized with a Transformational Leader Inspiration Award from the Royal Ottawa Hospital, and the Honorary Presidency of the Canadian Psychological Association.

I wanted to hear about his decision to share his story, and what it was like doing so in the world of academia.
