This week we reviewed My Three Year Old is a Barbarian by Aaron Frale

A bunch of students getting Saturday detention is a story we’ve heard before, but this isn’t your average Saturday breakfast club detention, nor is your average teacher watching over the students. Mr. Jackson and Petra, a Teacher’s assistant, are left in charge of Saturday’s detention after 4 students are caught with pot. Petra is the mastermind behind more than what she was caught for, which was using the school’s Instagram account and track the teachers and people that would rat other people out buying, selling, or smoking weed. Mr. Jackson has a little experiment planned that the students aren’t aware of which will send them on a trip of a lifetime. During his experiment things don’t go exactly as planned. Their consciousness has been transferred into heroes from a different realm called Carnt. The worst part, Petra’s 3 year old son, Jonathon who happened to be with her at the time, is now a gigantic barbarian.
