In our Western Culture today, we know very little religious persecution. For the most part, we have the freedom to follow Jesus without restriction.

But when Paul wrote today’s verse of the day, persecution, imprisonment, and even execution were an every day occurrence. The followers of Jesus were in a war with the followers of Caesar. But Paul believed that the Christians has a secret weapon
