Today we talk about the American Buffalo or Bison and its key role on the American Prairie for the Native American people. We briefly tell some stories about how the bison relates to our cultures as well as how it was referred to as the Walmart of the great plains. The bison provided everything from the shelter to the every day tools our ancestors needed. The relationship between our cultures and this animal is a must for survival.
