Today is a conspiracy-based episode as the gang dives in to the movie The Manchurian Candidate. This film is a story about Bennett Marco, a soldier who fought in the Gulf War, who begins to have dreams about a raid he participated in. He comes to find that he has a microchip implanted in him, and that the dreams were memories wherein his squad was brainwashed into killing each other by Manchurian Global. Manchurian Global plays the part of a corrupt private equity firm that builds weapons and conducts unethical experiments. The Manchurian Candidate is a story of corporate corruption and influence, and how it affects the behind-the-scenes of society and government.
