In this episode of The Most Serious Podcast, I talk to Surabhi Talwar Co-founder and CEO of Happy Jars, drawing on over 15 years of experience building FMCG, fashion, and lifestyle brands. She has had an interesting journey from being a corporate professional to an entrepreneur.
Surabhi is passionate about helping people understand the importance of honest, simple, and nutritious food. Her mission is to build Happy Jars into India’s most loved food brand, one that cares about its customers and their relationship with food. Surabhi hopes to transform the food industry’s misinformation-driven narrative through clear, engaging, and transparent content that empowers customers to make informed choices. Having worked in London, Delhi, Bangalore, and Mumbai, Surabhi brings a range of perspectives to Happy Jars. She is passionate about consumer behaviour and insights. Her forte lies in storytelling and creating value in the minds of buyers for whatever it is that they are being pitched. Prior to starting Happy Jars, Surabhi worked with companies like Fabindia Overseas, Wildcraft India, and Lowe Lintas. She holds an MSc in Marketing from StrathclydeUniversity in Glasgow (UK). Surabhi is a mother to a 3-year-old which keeps her busy when she’s not at work. She is passionate about helping women succeed in the corporate world and their entrepreneurial journeys.
