Although this period in his life may have been a good time, it dawned on Beaufort that it was also tiresome: “I was tired of losing people who I cared about and hurting women period,” says Beaufort.
Since 2013, Beaufort has devoted his time and intellectual art to being an inspiration via Facebook posts on his creative page Thoughts of a Real Man. His posts advise women on the broad definition of a good man and serves as a guidance, for men, on how to maintain a healthy relationship: “I used to go through Facebook and see encouraging quotes and that’s when I realized, if they can make a change in someone’s life, I could change lives and be an inspiration, too,” says Beaufort. Of course, being a man offering very stimulating advice to women, his fan base reached to about half a million interactions among Facebook friends. Although Beaufort is single, he is casually dating in hopes of finding the right woman to settle down with. In the meantime, his social status increases his ability to be a motivation for women and a leader for men: “Dating with a purpose helps me set an example for men and encourage women that not all men aren’t bad; it gives them hope.” Today Beaufort resides on Valdosta, Ga, where he runs a lawn care business called Best of Best Lawn Care. Nevertheless, though Beaufort put his old player ways and damaged relationships behind him, he adores his two girls and two boys that came out of it. Along with conducting business, being a father, and a devoted christian to New Birth Ministries, he hopes to one day give back a sound contribution to his community.
