You may remember struggling through a yawn, sleepily eating popcorn as you waited under a blanket on the couch for that late night monster movie to start. It was always a rewarding triumph if you were able to stay awake for the beginning, even if you were dozing by the opening credits... it still counted! Sometimes you were tuning in for the film, but more often you wanted to see what the horror host was up to. The 80s and 90s were rich in the traditional hosted movie shows, some were locally produced while others were on a larger stage and gained international fame. From local heros to legendary figures we touch on all our favorites in this week's tribute to the folks who stayed up late with us watching scary movies... Here's to the horror hosts!
