Chisako Kakehi, is Japan’s very own Black Widow. She was driven by greed and a lack of moral fiber, amassing a fortune of nearly 9 million dollars in inheritance and insurance payouts from her many boyfriends and husbands that she met through online dating sites. She was a prolific killer in a country that has one of the world's lowest homicide rates, which made  her killing spree a shocking and particularly momentous scandal in Japan. In her golden years, she repeatedly met, dated and married elderly men, including her four confirmed victims. It came at a time when elderly people in Japan have become more and more interested in finding partners amid a rapidly aging population and the spread of nuclear families in the country.
