Episode 35: Sales & Social isolation (studies from 2008 and 2014)

Listen Later

Our new episode this week is part of our "sales process" series.

"Sales & Social isolation" is our topic. Our episode is based on 2 studies from 2008 and 2014 focusing on sales, performance and health.

For all businesses, the sales force is the lifeblood that generates the revenue to stay in business!

There is no business when there is no sales!

1. Workplace isolation: Salespeople are at high risk to experience burnout in their jobs.

2. Salesperson commitment: Sales people hear rejection from the majority of their social interactions. This leads to many engaging in poor diet and health habits, rushing to meetings, that very often explains the high turnover rate.

3. Job performance
