In Episode 35, Stuart McCullough invites Tim Nagle back to discuss WorkCover Leave Accrual. The two talk specifically of the accrual of annual leave and personal leave on periods of absence while on WorkCover. This topic is further to a full-bench decision by the Fair Work Commission, handed down on 1 September 2017 - the case of the Australian Nursing & Midwifery Federation (ANMF) and Alfred Health. Stuart explains that during the time that a person is not in active service to an employer, they are not accruing the benefits of service.
