In this episode, we dive into one of the darkest songs on the album “Name of the Black.” As dark and painful as these places are, they are also real and control many people’s present reality. Thoughts of worthlessness and suicide are present and on the increase.

I just spoke on the Global Summit of suicide attempt survivors a couple of months ago, and the stories are heartbreaking. We talk about this “place” and what is required to take control of your own life, so you don’t stay there. You own your life, and no one can take it from you. Even though black has a “dark side,” there is always a light waiting to emerge if we are patient and never give up.
