The bible warns us to ensure we have eyes to see and ears to ear. Unfortunately there are many examples, of people who claim to to see, to hear, and to understand God's word, but God says the exact opposite about them. Why is this? We will look at God's word to understand who is blind and deaf to the truth of God's word and the problem that keeps them in blindness and deafness. Jesus accuses those in a church of being blind and poor; telling them they need to become rich, to get new clothes, and new eyes.
