Setting boundaries shouldn't be a negative aspect to life.  We want to teach our kids that vocalizing your expectations in a relationship, whether it be romantic, plutonic or with colleagues to work, sets the foundation of how you expect to be treated and how you wish to treat others. Also, this week's PSA to all parents is "Stop being so hard on yourselves! You are all doing the best you can and we admire and support you."
