Let me feel
the way your body
fits…
How my mind
gives way
when your weight
finds me.
Fall into me.
Let me hear
your heartbeat
thudding
in your chest
as you settle
against mine,
giving me rest.
Fall into me.
Give me what hurts,
what stings,
what bleeds.
I’ll tend the wounds
so your pain is released.
Fall into me,
so I can finally
breathe.
