One thing we do when going through a break up is allow our self worth to be defined as to whether someone else was or weas not capable of loving you.
I am here to tell you - only you define your worth.
Realise that you are not the many things your ex or others may have said to you. sometimes the painful things that weren't explicitly said hurt just as much as those that were spoken. In any case, the first step is to be able to see yourself as distinct, whole, and separate from the painful energy of what the relationship was.
