Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

The second of the four loves throughout the bible is that of Philia or Companionship. God places people in our lives to support us through troubled times as well as to rejoice when times are good. These companions are a gift, and extension of God's love. So today, as we prepare our hearts in celebration of St. Valentine's day may we thank God for the gift of those in our lives who love us and may we in turn love those in need.
